Continuous TV watching is injurious for lungs
The Japanese experts say that watching TV more than 2 and half hours daily can cause death by blood retention in lungs. Japanese scientists researched for 20 years during which TV watching duration and normal health of 86000 men and women of 40 to 79 years was checked.
It was found during the study that watching TV from 2.5 to 5 hours daily increases the risk of dying by blood retention in lungs by 70%. It is also seen that dying threat increase by 40% after 2 hours increase of TV watching duration. The danger for people watching TV for over 5 hours increases by 250%.
Good news is that this health risk can be reduced by doing small exercises during TV watching. The experts told that symptoms of blood retention in lungs include chest pain and difficulty in breathing which is similar to other diseases.
