Pak Movies First Festival 2016 in America

New York, Dr Maleeha Lodhi is the Permanent Envoy of Pakistan in UNO and she is heading the permanent mission in New York, which is going to manage their first festival in UN to show the Pakistani movies on different topics. This festival will be conducted from 03 Dec to 04 Dec 2016 and various leading and well known movies will be added in this festival. The permanent mission has managed their festival to show the movies to the ambassadors of about 193 countries so that they can present the soft and bright face of Pakistan to the entire world. This two day festival will be conducted in Asia Society and various movies including some new movies will be placed in this festival.
Various new movies like ‘Lahore Se Aagey’ and ‘Dobara Phir Se’ will be added in the collection. The movies like ‘Actor in Law’ and the movie, ‘Mah Meer’, which was nominated for Oscar Awards and the Oscar Awards winner animated movie, ‘3 Bahadur’, Ho Mann Jahan, Dukhtar and Dance Kahani are also included in this festival. The permanent envoy of Pakistan, Dr Maleeha said that the young Pakistani filmmakers are very talented and they have shown their perfect and wonderful performance to make the movies on the new and bold topics. The red carpet inaugural ceremony will be conducted on 02 December 2016 in UNO.
