For airing of TV dramas on TV channels, Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority has announced few new instructions.

According to the regulatory authority, famous dramas of Pakistani TV channels are getting popular around the world and it makes these dramas an important factor for promoting any trend.

The increasing popularity of these dramas is evident that all family members of a Pakistani household watches these dramas while sitting together. Therefore, TV channels should not only produce dramas to entertain people of every age group but should also follow the ethical and moral values of the society. In order to do so, the themes of dramas should also be appropriate without the use of any controversial element.

Now in order to achieve this purpose, PEMRA has issued few important rules and regulations and the TV channels have to follow these rules in their dramas.
