Lahore, Chairman PEMRA, Absaar Alam has decided the crackdown against the Indian TV channels showing through illegal DTH (Direct To Home).

According to the media news that the chairman PEMRA held a meeting with the Chief Minister Punjab and they gave the briefing to take step to crackdown against the Indian TV channels, which are shown through illegal DTH. The chairman PEMRA told that the crackdown against the Indian TV channels will be carried out from 05 October. The CM of Punjab also said that it is very pleasing initiative, which PEMRA is going to conduct against illegal Indian TV channels. The government will make every possible cooperation with PEMRA in this respect.
