Sawan Awarded as Best Foreign Movie in Madrid Film Festival

Madrid, A Pakistani movie, Sawan was presented in the Madrid film festival and this movie won the award of the best international movie. The story of the movie is based on the disabled Baloch child, who overcomes the difficulties with great courage. Farhan Alam is the US and Pakistani film maker and he directed this movie. Mashood Qadri is the writer, who won the best screen play writer award. The producer of the movie is Asma Qadri and this movie will be released at the end of this year.
In the category of the short movies during the Madrid international film festival, the Saudi female director Reem Al Bayat won the award of the best director and she won this award on her movie, Yaqzani ‘Awake me’ and this female director has already presented two other movies, Zilal and Damiyah.
