The Glassworker is Pakistan First Anime in Urdu
The Pakistani teenager, Usman Riaz has shown the sensation guitar music in different way by putting the guitar in his lap and strummed it both his hands and fingers and knocked on it. He has prepared the first ever hand drawn animated movie of Pakistan, The Glassworker.
Mano Animation Studios has created this movie, the Glassworker and this is the story of a young boy, Vincent and the girl, Alliz. Vincent is learning the art of glassblowing from his father while working in glass shop and Alliz is his frequent visitor of the shop.
The film maker talked with media and said that this story is set in the fictitious Waterfront Town. Vincent is the apprentice glass blower and he learnt this art from his father. Alliz is the violinist, who strives to find her unique voice on the instrument. This film gave the comments on the effects of war on children and it follow bold characters through their formative years when the life gets more complicated and their friendship is developed.
Jami Moor is the Karachi based film director and he talked in support of the movie and for the team and the highly stylized film. He commented on the movie that this is the pure heartwarming and hard working kid, who has performed in this tremendous way.
It is remarkable to see that the initiatives are being taken to diversify the showbiz of Pakistan and create the opportunities for people, who are working in this field. He further added that there is no lack of talent in Pakistan and they need to come forward to show their talent to the world.
